| My bad, I just made a big mistake. I have a Zemulator and I downloaded the Nistune (trial version) to test it with the Pocket Romulator. The Zem can connect to the Romulator w/o the ignition on, but the Nistune didn't find the Romulator with the ignition off. So I turned it on. I wanted to transfer the datas from the Romulator to the Nistune memory, but I didn't click on the right menu, so I did the opposite and uploaded the Romulator with the Nistune memory... which was empty of course (=> '0' everywhere in the Romulator). Immediately, the electric fan started. I turned off the ignition and reloaded the right configuration in the Romulator with the Zem. But when I turned the ignition on, the fan started again. I cranked the engine and it ran roughly, especially at idle, with a rich mixture (I have a WB O2). And one belt is squealing very hard, maybe the alternator which was slightly untightened. I can't connect my Conzult (it doesn't find the ECU), and the ECU test (with the knob) doesn't work anymore... So I unplugged the battery 3 hours to hard reset the ECU, but it's not better. I think the ECU is damaged and is now working on the safety mode (with the 2nd processor and its static maps). But I don't understand how some bad values in the EPROM could physically destroy the ECU. Any idea ? Thanks.
